I’m thankful for the amazing opportunity I had to display some of my art pieces at a local Asian American owned ice cream shop in my hometown Torrance. These pieces are all painted in acrylic on canvas. My love for painting landscapes grew over the years as I could keep them as a memory for places I visited or feel immersed in places that I wanted to visit. I decided on the pieces of Japan, my cultural heritage, & Los Angeles, my home, during my favorite golden hour. I hope to illustrate and embrace my identity as an Asian American (Shin Nisei Nikkei).
